Welcome to Stephen Central Public School - home of the TIGERS!!

Stephen Central is small rural school located in South Huron just west of Crediton. Currently we have approximately 165 students from J.K. to Grade 8. We have 10 teaching staff, .5 Technical Resource Assistant, 1 custodian and 1 secretary.
I would like to welcome back all students from our summer break. I am looking forward to a wonderful year and continuing to work with the great community of Stephen Central. As a staff we will continue with our dedication to continuous student improvement and learning. I believe that students need a safe, inviting and supportive environment in order to be successful.

It is always wonderful to receive support from our parents and community partnerships. As we begin the new year I would like to remind parents that we are looking for your involvement in the school. If you are available we are always looking for new members on School Council or to be a volunteer in the school. Parental involvement is central to the effective functioning of the school - remember ‘It takes a village to raise a child’.

This school year will be an exciting one for all of our students. As students at Stephen Central, your efforts will make this a positive school year for yourself and others around you. Let’s have a great year together!
